ABOUT OUR HOST

The annual Glisten Women’s Conference is the vision of Pastor Charla Turner, who serves as the co-pastor and founder of Turning Point Church alongside her husband, Pastor Michael Turner. Inspired by the story of the woman at the well (John 4:4-30), Pastor Charla has a passion to create a faith-filled community for women to find healing and wholeness through Jesus Christ, and to always be able to GLISTEN as they were designed to.

Turning Point Church is a non-denominational, multi-cultural, and multi-generational church located in South Atlanta, Georgia.

Turning Point Church began in the hearts of Pastors Michael and Charla Turner in 2002. After much fasting and praying, God confirmed in their hearts and through their pastors that God was calling them to begin a work in South Atlanta/Henry County, Georgia. On January 5, 2003, Turning Point Church held its first meeting with 21 people. In March of 2003, moved its services to Eagles Landing Middle School.

After meeting in schools and office parks for several years, Turning Point Church established its first permanent campus in 2006 at 78 Old Jackson Road in McDonough, Georgia. Today, Turning Point Church has become a home and family of choice for thousands of people every weekend who are dedicated to leading a God-first life.
